On Oct. 24, 1992, the Toronto Blue Jays became the first Canadian team to win the World Series when they beat the Atlanta Braves in the sixth game. In photos and words, the Star’s front page captured the frenzied celebration at the SkyDome, which was showing the game played in Atlanta on the huge stadium screen, and in the streets of Toronto. What a rush it was, with fans of all ages suddenly swept up in Jays fever.
